These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Fool’s Gold. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Handmade Objects

All Fool’s Gold pieces are produced in small batches and made by hand. Variations in finish, texture, patina, color, and form are natural to the making process and are considered part of each object’s character, not defects. No two pieces are exactly alike.

Product Availability

Many items are produced in limited quantities and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.

Orders

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. Fool’s Gold reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion. If an order is canceled, a full refund will be issued.

Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment methods listed at checkout.

Shipping

Orders ship within the estimated timeline noted on each product page. Because many works are made or finished in small batches, shipping timelines may vary slightly. Fool’s Gold is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.

Preorders

Preorder items are charged at the time of purchase and ship within the estimated timeline listed in the product description. If production timelines shift, customers will be notified via email with updated shipping estimates.

Custom & Special Orders

We occasionally accept custom commissions or special production requests depending on capacity. Please contact us directly for inquiries. All custom and special orders are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once production has begun.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any duties, import taxes, VAT fees, or customs charges incurred at delivery. Fool’s Gold is not responsible for these additional costs.

Returns & Damaged Items

Due to the small-batch and handmade nature of our work, all sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery atinfo@foolsgold.world with photographs of both the item and packaging. If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.

Care & Use

Many Fool’s Gold objects are functional artworks intended for everyday use. Variations and wear that develop over time are part of the material life of the object. Customers are responsible for the proper care and use of purchased items. Care instructions, when applicable, will be included with your order or listed on the product page.

Intellectual Property

All images, product designs, text, branding, photography, and website content are the property of Fool’s Gold and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Fool’s Gold shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or website.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States.
